HOW TO FORMAT YOUR S6O DEVICES (SYMBIAN PHONES).

Unlike java users Symbian phone users can format their phone all by themselves. I mean you can do it. It is very easy. Virus is the the major reason for formatting of phone. Just follow the steps below. There are two methods involved and i shall tell you step by step. NOTE: YOU ARE ADVICED TO BACK ALL YOUR DATAS SUCH AS MUSICS AND VIDEOS TO YOUR MEMORY CARD TO AVOID THEM BEING DELETED. STEPS TO FORMAT YOUR S60 DEVICE USING METHOD 1: 1.Close all running applications both background ones. Mobile guard or netquin antivirus would be of help. But its not compulsory. 2. Now dial the code *#7370# 3. Immediately you will be prompted to enter your phone's security code. 4. Enter the default code 12345 or the one you have changed it to. 5. Now the fone will have to start the formating process and your phone will have to restart for the process to be complete. Thats all and your phone is free from viruses. This method works on all S60 device. METHOD 2: 1. Charge your fone to at least 3/4 of battery level. 2. Close all running applications. 3. Now switch off your phone. 4. Press and hold down the below keys; (a) green dial key (b) star key (c) number 3 key. 5. Still holding these buttons, power on the phone. 6. Hold the buttons till the fone have power on and thats all. This method is very useful especially when the phone is having booting problem and not that compatible for most touch screen phones.
